Terms of service.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Jessi AI mobile app, its desktop and browser companions, its skills, and this website (together, the "Services"), all provided by Quantum Forge Robotics ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

2. Beta software

Jessi is in active beta. That means:

• Features may change, break, be added or be removed, and availability and performance vary by device.
• Features we describe as planned or "coming", such as Day Dreaming, the Vault and MCP connections, may not be available yet and may change before launch.
• We may update the app automatically or ask you to install updates to keep using it.
• Back up anything important. Because your data is stored on your device, losing or resetting the device, or uninstalling the app, may permanently delete it.

3. Who can use Jessi

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you're under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.

4. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us right away at privacy@quantumforgerobotics.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.

5. Using the app

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Jessi app on devices you own or control, for your personal use or your own internal business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease the Services, or reverse engineer or try to extract their source code or models, except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.

6. Your content

What you say to Jessi, what you show her and what she learns about you ("Your Content") belongs to you. Everyday processing happens on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. To the extent our servers handle Your Content, for example when routing sync between your devices, you give us a limited permission to transmit it solely to provide that feature. We don't use Your Content to train AI models. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you give Jessi, including images of other people or their property.

7. AI answers

Jessi uses artificial intelligence, and AI can be wrong. Her answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or inappropriate for your situation, even when they sound confident.

• Not professional advice. Jessi and her skills, including skills such as Inspector, Mechanic, Field Tech, Tutor, Job Estimator and Plant Doctor, provide general information only. They are not a substitute for a licensed professional, such as a home inspector, electrician, mechanic, doctor, lawyer, accountant or financial adviser, or for official building codes, manuals and safety instructions.
• Check before you rely on it. Verify important information yourself, especially anything involving health, safety, money, legal matters, electrical work, gas, structural work or vehicles.
• Estimates are estimates. Measurements, materials lists, prices and other figures Jessi produces are approximate.
• Your decisions are yours. You're responsible for how you use Jessi's answers and for any action you take based on them.

8. Safety

• Don't let Jessi distract you while you're driving, operating machinery or doing anything that needs your full attention. Obey all traffic and phone-use laws, and only use hands-free features where they're legal and safe.
• When using Jessi with smart glasses, stay aware of your surroundings and follow the glasses maker's safety guidance.
• Before working near electricity, gas, heights or moving parts, follow proper safety procedures and turn off power or isolate the hazard. Call a qualified professional when in doubt.
• Respect other people's privacy. Don't record or identify people where the law prohibits it or without the consent the law requires.
• Jessi is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

9. Skills, connected services and third parties

Jessi can work with third-party products and services, such as smart glasses, email, calendars, CRMs, news sources and the National Weather Service. Those are provided by others under their own terms and privacy policies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them, their content or their availability. When you connect a service, you authorize Jessi to access it as you direct, and you can disconnect it at any time. Meta and Meta glasses are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Other product names are trademarks of their owners. Unless we say otherwise, Jessi is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Payments

• Pricing. Some features or plans may cost money. Prices, what's included and the billing period are shown before you buy. Prices don't include applicable taxes unless stated.
• Processing. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep access until then.
• Price changes. We'll give you notice before a price change affects your subscription, so you can cancel first.
• Refunds. Except where the law requires otherwise or we state otherwise at purchase, payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partial periods. Contact us if you think you've been charged in error.
• Purchases through app stores, if offered, are governed by that store's terms and refund policy.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights
• harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate or harm anyone
• create or spread malware, spam or deceptive content
• generate content that sexually exploits minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm
• access accounts, systems or data you're not authorized to access, including through connected services
• interfere with or disrupt the Services or their security, or overload our systems
• scrape, copy or resell the Services, or use them to build a competing product or model

12. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation or payment to you. In-app ratings and corrections stay on your device unless you choose to send them to us.

13. Our intellectual property

The Services, including the software, models, design, the Jessi name and logo, and the Quantum Forge Robotics name and logo, are owned by Quantum Forge Robotics or its licensors and protected by law. These Terms don't give you any rights in them except the limited license in section 5.

14. Ending these terms

You can stop using the Services at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if we're required to by law, or if we stop offering the Services or the beta. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on your content, payments owed, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and disputes.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that AI answers will be accurate, or that data stored on your device won't be lost.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Quantum Forge Robotics and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim arose and (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Some places don't allow certain limits on warranties or liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

17. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and indemnify Quantum Forge Robotics against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or of anyone's rights.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at privacy@quantumforgerobotics.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we can't, any dispute must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we consent to their personal jurisdiction. Either party may bring an eligible claim in small-claims court instead. If you live in a country whose laws give you the right to bring claims in your local courts, or to the protection of local consumer laws, nothing in this section removes those rights.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms, for example as beta features launch or the law changes. We'll update the date above. For material changes we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

20. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We're not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
